In fact, he sounds like a trigger-happy imbecile.

The New York Times proves that they can write an eight page campaign script for Barack Obama’s re-election effort that can be summarily tossed in the trash after the first three paragraphs.

Obama’s Ever Expanding “Kill List” or Secret ‘Kill List’ Proves a Test of Obama’s Principles and Will (New York Times)
(beginning with the third sentence)

President Obama, overseeing the regular Tuesday counterterrorism meeting of two dozen security officials in the White House Situation Room, took a moment to study the faces. It was Jan. 19, 2010, the end of a first year in office punctuated by terrorist plots and culminating in a brush with catastrophe over Detroit on Christmas Day, a reminder that a successful attack could derail his presidency. Yet he faced adversaries without uniforms, often indistinguishable from the civilians around them.

“How old are these people?” he asked, according to two officials present. “If they are starting to use children,” he said of Al Qaeda, “we are moving into a whole different phase.”

Hold it! Back it up.

The President of the United States of America did not know that prior to January of 2010, Al Qaeda was using children in their operations.

Using simple google searches, I found these articles that confirm that if stuff like this is trickling out for bloggers and others to write about, that the President and former Senator should have known it was happening.

I asked someone more involved in the War On Terror, Tim Sumner of 911 Families for a Safe and Strong America, and he told me,

There are many confirmed reports of AQ, its franchises, and the Taliban using kids. Omar Khadr was 15 when the grenade he threw killed a US SOF soldier in AG. The madrassas in PK are packed with once starving now Koran reciting kids (the best students get fast tracked to the virgins in paradise). AQI routinely strapped cellphone-linked bombs to mentally challenged kids in Iraq. Search The Long War Journal for the stories. Obama’s ignorance of those facts destroys his credibility as both compassionate and informed about terrorism.

So I did search The Long War Journal, and I found these additional informative posts:

This horrible story, “Terrorist Toys for Tots” and this horrible story, The Nature of the Beast, both in 2005. But look at this from 2008, a story about the killing of Abu Ghazwan by Iraqi forces,

As the leader of the northern Baghdad belt, Ghazwan commanded numerous al Qaeda cells in the Taji and Tarmiyah regions. Some of these cells were responsible for the recruitment and training of female and child suicide bombers. He also “advised and financed other terrorist cells throughout northern Iraq,” Multinational Forces Iraq reported.

There is plenty more, but I think that’ll do well enough to show how the New York Times and Barack Obama are hoping everyone accepts the rest of their ridiculous collusion to show what a tough guy he is. Beyond that, Tim is right, if he is indeed ignorant that children were being used by Al Qaeda before January of 2010, he is so out of the loop of protecting this nation, it is scary.

The rest of the NYT story can be thrown out, none of it matters.

  1. Bill says:

When will the voting public acknowledge Obama and Biden for the LIARS they are? Who are the Stupids? Tom Arnold and cast or Obama, Michelle, Biden and cast of thousands/millions.

  2. dawn says:

As Mark Levin has said so often, where has it come down that Obongo is "smart"–or even room-temperature competent? His intelligence might have been compromised by his massive drug abuse during high school and college, where he spent more time in the Choom-mobile than in class–or it may never have been there to begin with. His public utterance is carefully tempered and schooled by scripts and tele-a-prompters. But extemporaneously, he makes almost as many astonishing errors of fact and history that he almost matches the moron Veep. Average educations teach us that there are only 50, not 57, states; that there is no "Austrian" language; that one does not mispronounce 'corpsmen'–and on into the nightmare of frightening ignorance he repeatedly reveals when unprompted by his flotilla of writers and minders.

He is like an idiot-savant–minus, of course, the savant part of the equation.

  3. task says:

He may be an idiot when it comes to American history, the international community and geography but he is spot on when it comes to fundamentally changing this nation. Remember that is what he cares about, what he plans to do and he knows how to do that reasonably well. Just ask yourself how things have gone in the past three and one-half years? Although Pelosi and a sixty-seat democrat Senate substantially helped him he, nevertheless, legalized ObamaCare with his signature, increased the power and control the government has over the individual and spent an additional five trillion, that we don’t have, to fortify his base.

I will go one further. The real irony to all of the above, the ultimate farce, is that Obama is not even a good socialist; if anything he is an armchair socialist who would benefit from reading Ameritopia just to learn how to do the wrong thing the right way. I give him a C in socialism and an A+ in damage creation. This is his specialty and true intention. He hates America and her success and would rather create his vision of utopia on her ashes than wait around and plan a more orderly revision. What is truly remarkable is that the American people are so addicted to entailments that they would sell what remains of their liberty and give this demagogue an additional four years to hastily finish what he has yet to complete.

Where have you been all these years, Jen Kuznicki? Perhaps better asked, Where have I been that I have not tripped headlong over your great blog? Thanks for this excellent site.

Jen, you are a breath of fresh air. I ditto Hillary.
