The President’s speech told us more about him than he did about us. It reveals why he hates us and why he would have us loathe ourselves. Altruism, sculpted by guilt and cynicism, is the weapon of choice of any controlling mastermind. To be successful he must shift virtue from doing something for oneself to doing it for others for the wrong reasons. He does this by equivocating the same moral values of those who have not experienced the sacrifices, nor applied the effort, nor risked their time and property to those who have for their achievements. As such his deception is immoral; he is attempting to redefine injustice and eventually make it the law of the land. In a free country altruism cannot be coercive and designed for the common good at the expense of the individual’s liberty and self-interest. How long would constitutionally protected freedoms survive under such a philosophy?

“We can’t drill because we ruin everything and we need to lower our thermostats” may be environmentally satisfying jargon but the statist-in-chief has about as much affection for the environment as he does for capitalism. Obama is about redistribution and control; even if he believed in Global Warming he cares not a wit if the Heartland dries out and rising waters place Florida underwater. If you want to understand how a nefarious imposter hopes to camouflage his glorious intentions for America, so as to stay beneath the radar for the purpose of achieving re-election, you could not invent a better model to study than our present Chicago trained political shyster that relies upon the ineptitude of his opponent and the gullibility of an American electorate that he hopes is not yet shy about being bitten twice.

American capitalism has been on strike as a result of the antagonistic anti-business rhetoric flowing from the Administration since 2009; Atlas, now jaded, is shrugging. Obama knows that less taxes and regulations will create wealth for everyone. He also knows that will result in many people throughout the World remaining much further behind as America rises and he finds that vision intolerable. He may be the American President but his concern is for the World first and America second. He knows he can only influence and control what is outside of our hemisphere in a small way. It is far easier to achieve his egalitarian vision by diminishing American success and greatness than it is for the rest of the World to catch up as fast as he would like. Given a second term his plans and dreams will advance at maximum velocity. Unfortunately they will do so inversely to our recovery and prosperity.
