When Is Romney Going To Take The Gloves Off?
Commentary by task
Conservatives are now boisterously clamoring about what they once warned. Right before everyone’s eyes, nakedly stands a bunch of communist misfits approved and appointed by the mastermind and statist-in-chief, the POTUS himself. They were once his mentors, they are now his friends, and they are whom he appoints to manage the bureaucracies which determine how we must behave. Where are the media Joe McCarthy types now? Where is the Republican Party? Where is Romney?
The long political winter that ran parallel with the great economic depression and which represented America’s first flirtation with fascism and Keynesian economic policy stands in sharp contrast to the outstanding recovery experienced during the Reagan economic revitalization of America. The latter episode marked the defeat of communism, the massive creation of wealth and jobs along with a prosperity that enamored and emboldened world economies, enabled the European economy to rejuvenate better than when under the Marshall Plan and eventually provoked the Chinese to shed their communist yoke and adopt the alternative economic tyranny of fascism.
You have to marvel how the real historical record stands in sharp contrast to the propaganda talking points flowing from this current Administration whose record attempts to make the FDR New Deal failure seem like something akin to a utopia created by Adam Smith. At least, from our Great Depression, you can still see the aftermath in terms of the TVA, the Hoover Dam and the rash of bridges and tunnels, constructed in NY under the direction of Robert Moses and which still remain in use today. What current evidence have we seen that supports multiple stimuli and 6 trillion in new debt? The factual testimony reveals the enrichment of union run corporations, the bailout and nationalization of banks and hedge funds too big to fail and an auto industry that attempted to retain jobs which often cost the taxpayer upwards of $250,000 apiece. The phony crony capitalism/socialism taxpayer investments were squandered on dubious energy technologies that gave little hope of success from the get go but were guaranteed to generate huge quid pro quo campaign contributions before they eventually failed. FDR did not give the money away to buy votes for re-election. He created an alphabet of different agencies where people could find both work and dignity as an antidote against the protracted depression. And yet, despite his best efforts, he failed.
This is mind-boggling abundant fodder for the Romney camp and you would think they would jump all over it using the same tactics they used to destroy their opponents in the Republican primary. It is not the time for them to go wobbly on us and cower under a media blitz designed to shake their confidence by rewriting history with falsehoods and camouflaged facts and yet they appear as uncertain in their new combative role designed to defeat men of tyranny as John Roberts in his new role as Chief Justice where he recently betrayed his oath to uphold our Constitution.
Romney must immediately start doing the heavy lifting and characterize the POTUS for his communist inspired past, his communist appointments and his Goebbels’-like propaganda designed to redefine his real plans for America and the worst jobs-creation record since the Great Depression. The POTUS and his media comrades have the upper hand but America is attentively listening to hear the voice of the alternative to inspire them with their natural quest for liberty and desire to pursue happiness. George Orwell’s 1984 novel frequently stated that those “Who controls the past controsl the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” It is time for Romney to set the record straight and properly characterize that which we elected and that which was tried before and worked was Reaganomics, an economic system designed around Founding Principles, and that which has failed, throughout history, is exactly why the last three and a half years has been what they are. America is listening… and waiting.

UTPW Presented by image consultant los angelesMark Levin Gives Unvarnished Truth
MARK LEVIN: We conservatives, we do not accept bipartisanship in the pursuit of tyranny. Period. We will not negotiate the terms of our economic and political servitude. Period. We will not abandon our child to a dark and bleak future. We will not accept a fate that is alien to the legacy we inherited from every single future generation in this country. We will not accept social engineering by politicians and bureaucrats who treat us like lab rats, rather than self-sufficient human beings. There are those in this country who choose tyranny over liberty. They do not speak for us, 57 million of us who voted against this yesterday, and they do not get to dictate to us under our Constitution.
We are the alternative. We will resist. We're not going to surrender to this. We will not be passive, we will not be compliant in our demise. We're not good losers, you better believe we're sore losers! A good loser is a loser forever. Now I hear we're called 'purists.' Conservatives are called purists. The very people who keep nominating moderates, now call us purists the way the left calls us purists. Yeah, things like liberty, and property rights, individual sovereignty, and the Constitution, and capitalism. We're purists now. And we have to hear this crap from conservatives, or pseudo-conservatives, Republicans.

I don't deny that global warming exists. It does not exist. There is not a pink elephant in my kitchen. I'm not denying it. It is not there. If I denied that there was a pink elephant in my kitchen, it would have to be there, but I would be lying to myself and everyone and walk around it to cook. But it is not there, therefore, I am not denying that it is.

Snyder pushes to extend Medicaid to 470,000 Michiganders -- 'care for people who need it'
Snyder said Wednesday that he unconditionally supports expanding the state's Medicaid rolls by roughly 470,000 people. There are 1.9 million people receiving benefits now.
"We're all here to support expanding Medicaid," Snyder said at a news conference called by a large coalition of groups that support the expansion. "We're moving forward with care for people who need it."
Editorial: Snyder does right and healthy thing by backing Medicaid expansion
The ever-illogical argument that insuring more people will actually cost less. "But health care providers and advocates for the uninsured argue that the state will actually save money -- as much as $1 billion in the first decade -- if fewer residents have to rely on expensive emergency room facilities to address non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries."
Susan J. Demas: Will Tea Party Republicans fight Rick Snyder on expanding Medicaid under Obamacare?
Susan Dumass is really quite pedestrian. "The only thing standing in between 450,000 low-income Michiganders and health insurance is Tea Party Republicans' deep-seated hatred of Obamacare."
Snyder's big budget plan seeks hikes in gas tax, vehicle registration fees, more
In a switch, GOP governors back expanding Medicaid
This week, Michigan’s Rick Snyder became the sixth GOP governor to propose expanding his state’s health insurance program to cover more low-income residents, in line with the Democratic administration’s strong recommendation.
'Obamacare,' distrust of federal government heat up debate over Medicaid expansion in Michigan
Now that he's made the decision, Snyder must sell the plan to the state legislature, where some members of his own party have repeatedly attempted to distance themselves from the faintest whiff of "Obamacare."
- I can find neither solace or comfort in government. I cannot find hope nor light among those pretending to take my best interest to heart. I cannot worship or revere another human being because there are none alive that can instill my faith. Give me the One God; the One Who had created the heavens and earth and had purposefully breathed life into me. The One Who dwells in the secret place and watches over me and always keeps me company when all others abandoned me. But for Him I would have no purpose in this life; thank you Dear God.

In my personal opinion, I don't expect the Republican Party or Romney to stand much on our Founding Father's principals.
As we all know, Romney is a Rhino, a career politician with a liberal point of view who will be no different than the Republicans we see betray it's people than Rick Snyder and Bill Schutte.
With that being said, Romney has my vote, but only by default, as the candidate running against Obama, a liberal progressive who has NO RESPECT to our Constitution and has publicly claimed "The Constitution is a dead document that no longer applies in the 21st Century."
The answer to restore our freedoms lies within the power of the people to equip and empower themselves to learn our Constitution, as originally intended by our Founding Fathers, as they understood it.
Then and only then is when the spirit of the American People becomes enlightened, strengthening our resolve to defy any acts of tyranny based our rights "already" granted to us by God and the rule of laws in our Constitution.
The American people will continue to be the sheep surrounded by the wolves until they are willing to empower themselves and become equipped to empower our government.
We only need to take a look at ourselves to take responsibility to know what our Constitution means and how it's become distorted before we can expect those who represent us to act on any principals, let alone by the wisdom of our Founding Fathers.
It is the Republican Party or should I say Tea Party conservatives that I’M betting on because Romney is a malleable product subject to opinion. As an example consider 1994. Clinton, a rather loud liberal (but a politician and not an ideologue), lost the legislature as Obama has in 2010; he was then cajoled and guided by the Republican Congress while subject to hard public scrutiny and he responded. He stated that the era of big government was over; he introduced welfare reform and most of all he lowered capital gains taxes from 28% to 20%, while not increasing spending. The economy responded. Many refer to that period as the 3rd term of Ronald Reagan. That SOB borrowed a page from Reagan and Reagan represented you and I.
What this also means is that we have to wrest control back from media opinion to public opinion. The public and not the media must shape Romney because it is instinctively more Constructional than any Beltway insider or media pundit. Roberts’ opinion was recently influenced by both the media and his life in the Beltway; neither the Constitution or public opinion swayed him.
However, we have yet another problem. It is a new problem. Obama has been very crafty. He has placed so many people on the dole, breadlines, food stamps and unemployment that he actually changed public perception from why we don’t need government to why we need it. In a nutshell that is Obama’s current election strategy. And that is exactly why you are right concerning what the public needs to learn and, quite frankly, I’m unsure of exactly how to educate a country now full of dolts, drones and voting non-citizens fast enough to change poll numbers.
great column jen !! great commentary pat lady !! can we send you two into romney's camp and kick some ass ??
Thanks Danny, but this column was written by task. I can't take credit for it, but it mirrors my thoughts and feelings:)
Task quote: "What current evidence have we seen that supports multiple stimuli and 6 trillion in new debt? "
EXACTLY! We have a tremendous burden on our backs, oneso tremendous that the true size hasn't been calculated yet.
Excellent synopsis, task!
Great post! I'm beginning to get the feeling Romney will take a dive, the Republicans will throw this election just like they did with McCain.
No one has given away more free ammo than Obama. You would think he was trying to commit suicide yet this gang of RINOs could not even hit their target with a flame thrower.
I think Romney is playing is smart ! Let Obama use all his money. DID YOU NOT SEE THE PRIMARIES ? He put Newt and Santorum to shame. RHINO BLAH BLAH BLAH WE NEED TO STICK TOGETHER SO SHUT UP !
No, you shut up.
He did not put Newt and Santorum to shame. And yes we are going to stick together but that should not mean ignoring what Romney is doing wrong.
