Obama’s back is against the wall–Mark Levin says the debates don’t matter anymore.
Mark Levin’s opening rant from Wednesday, the day after the second Presidential debate was great. Below is a partial transcription, and below that, a recording.
Obama did his very best last night and it wasn’t good enough. I’m going to tell you folks something, the debates don’t matter anymore. They do not matter anymore. There’s no way Obama can explain away his record. He’s the incumbent, these are his policies, his taxes, his regulations, his deficits, what can he say? Obama is now a known quantity. He’s cornered. Cornered with his own record, his own propaganda, his back is against the wall, so he lies. He lies about job creation, he lies about his role in oil and gas production, he lies about cutting taxes multiple times for small businesses and the middle class, he lies about cutting the debt, he lies about his concern for the middle class.
But Obama isn’t trusted anymore, see? You don’t trust him. More and more people understand that he’s lying. Because his statements don’t conform with your own reality, your own experiences now.
Obama also lies about Romney and Romney’s plan. Romney doesn’t want to deny women medical coverage and treatment. Romney isn’t proposing a five trillion dollar tax cut for the rich. Romney isn’t proposing raising taxes on the middle class by two thousand dollars a year. And Romney isn’t proposing leaving the elderly without medical coverage. Furthermore, Romney isn’t hiding his assets overseas, he’s not evading his federal tax payments. Romney is not writing off 40 percent of the people in this country. (Obama’s) twisting his words and taking them out of context.
And then there is the other question, what will Obama do if he’s elected for the next four years? And when pressed on how he would create new jobs, how he would create new businesses, how he would expand the economy, Obama has no ideas, he has no plans, he has no answers.
This election is not really between Obama and Romney, it’s between Obama and us!
What kind of country do we want?
The fact is, if Obama had been a more moderate president, he would be hard to beat. But the fact is, Obama has unleashed the government. He’s waging war against our heritage, he’s waging war against our country, he’s waging war against our individual sovereignty. In short, Obama is attacking our unalienable rights.
Now you see folks, enough of us are still rugged individuals. Now, what do I mean by that? We are self-reliant and independent. We don’t need or want the government to subsidize us, and we don’t like being pushed around, including by bureaucrats and politicians. We don’t like being told we’re selfish when we’re taxed to death. We don’t like being told we owe our success to the government, when we owe our success in spite of the government. We don’t like our property being confiscated from us, and given to those who haven’t earned it.
We’re not progressives, we’re not statists, we’re not Fabians, we are Americans.
Obama doesn’t understand us.
Obama doesn’t respect us.
Obama doesn’t listen to us.
Again, this contest isn’t about Obama versus Romney, it’s about Obama versus We the People.
I’ll say it again, there is something going on in this country. There is a sense of urgency. Which I believe is growing because we know exactly what Obama has planned for us in the next four years.
Just as the colonists met in their homes and pubs and churches, I believe across this great nation, many of you are doing the same thing.
We take this personally. This is our country, this is our government, our children’s futures are at stake, our lifestyle’s at stake. That’s our Constitution, our Declaration of Independence.
Debate or no debate, (nothing’s going to change) unless we change who is in Washington DC.

MARK LEVIN: We conservatives, we do not accept bipartisanship in the pursuit of tyranny. Period. We will not negotiate the terms of our economic and political servitude. Period. We will not abandon our child to a dark and bleak future. We will not accept a fate that is alien to the legacy we inherited from every single future generation in this country. We will not accept social engineering by politicians and bureaucrats who treat us like lab rats, rather than self-sufficient human beings. There are those in this country who choose tyranny over liberty. They do not speak for us, 57 million of us who voted against this yesterday, and they do not get to dictate to us under our Constitution.
We are the alternative. We will resist. We're not going to surrender to this. We will not be passive, we will not be compliant in our demise. We're not good losers, you better believe we're sore losers! A good loser is a loser forever. Now I hear we're called 'purists.' Conservatives are called purists. The very people who keep nominating moderates, now call us purists the way the left calls us purists. Yeah, things like liberty, and property rights, individual sovereignty, and the Constitution, and capitalism. We're purists now. And we have to hear this crap from conservatives, or pseudo-conservatives, Republicans.
"It always amazes me the sheer number of women who defend abortion. Legal abortion has killed 52 million innocents since '73, that means 26 million roughly, were women. Sick." -Jen KuznickiAny woman who understands the problems of running a home will be nearer to understanding the problems of running a country. -Margaret ThatcherEntrepreneurs and their small enterprises are responsible for almost all the economic growth in the United States. -Ronald ReaganI am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end. -Margaret ThatcherBroadly speaking, the short words are the best, and the old words best of all. -Winston ChurchillCriticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things. -Winston ChurchillI Don’t Deny Global Warming Exists
I don't deny that global warming exists. It does not exist. There is not a pink elephant in my kitchen. I'm not denying it. It is not there. If I denied that there was a pink elephant in my kitchen, it would have to be there, but I would be lying to myself and everyone and walk around it to cook. But it is not there, therefore, I am not denying that it is.

Snyder pushes to extend Medicaid to 470,000 Michiganders -- 'care for people who need it'
Snyder said Wednesday that he unconditionally supports expanding the state's Medicaid rolls by roughly 470,000 people. There are 1.9 million people receiving benefits now.
"We're all here to support expanding Medicaid," Snyder said at a news conference called by a large coalition of groups that support the expansion. "We're moving forward with care for people who need it."
Editorial: Snyder does right and healthy thing by backing Medicaid expansion
The ever-illogical argument that insuring more people will actually cost less. "But health care providers and advocates for the uninsured argue that the state will actually save money -- as much as $1 billion in the first decade -- if fewer residents have to rely on expensive emergency room facilities to address non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries."
Susan J. Demas: Will Tea Party Republicans fight Rick Snyder on expanding Medicaid under Obamacare?
Susan Dumass is really quite pedestrian. "The only thing standing in between 450,000 low-income Michiganders and health insurance is Tea Party Republicans' deep-seated hatred of Obamacare."
Snyder's big budget plan seeks hikes in gas tax, vehicle registration fees, more
In a switch, GOP governors back expanding Medicaid
This week, Michigan’s Rick Snyder became the sixth GOP governor to propose expanding his state’s health insurance program to cover more low-income residents, in line with the Democratic administration’s strong recommendation.
'Obamacare,' distrust of federal government heat up debate over Medicaid expansion in Michigan
Now that he's made the decision, Snyder must sell the plan to the state legislature, where some members of his own party have repeatedly attempted to distance themselves from the faintest whiff of "Obamacare."
- I can find neither solace or comfort in government. I cannot find hope nor light among those pretending to take my best interest to heart. I cannot worship or revere another human being because there are none alive that can instill my faith. Give me the One God; the One Who had created the heavens and earth and had purposefully breathed life into me. The One Who dwells in the secret place and watches over me and always keeps me company when all others abandoned me. But for Him I would have no purpose in this life; thank you Dear God.

Thanx Jen. Heard it live. Mark is THEE greatest !! I love when he gets fired up !! Wish you could find a better term than 'rant', I'm NOT critisizing you !! You're GREAT too !!
Even some of the brain dead uninformed are becoming leery and fearful with what they see happening around them. But it's up to those of us who know what's happening to evict Obama. I don't care if I knew Romney was going to win in the biggest landslide in history I'd still go to the polls and vote for him. No American who knows the facts will stay home this election day.
As usual Levin nailed it. The Occupier in Chief and his Marxist minions have no idea what makes people like me, and this country tick. This regime has been dismissive of "normal" Americans for the last four years, and they will pay for it on November 6. Personally, two incidents have occurred in this country in the last six months that have encouraged me, and should have the Obama regime quaking in their boots. I am referring to the spontaneous support of Chick-Fil-A, and the Scott Walker recall victory. With that said, this is no time to relax, and think that we have these people beat. They are the dirtiest players in the game, and will stoop to whatever sleazy tactics are required to retain their power. I cannot wait to hear "Mr. Wonderful's" concession speech on November 7. God Bless America!
