On Sunday, Fox News aired a special featuring Mark Levin called ‘Behind Obama’s Green Agenda.’ Levin has said for years that the green movement is simply the new home for communism in the United States. For those of us who live in sparsely populated areas, we know this acutely. Farm Bureaus are headed by enviro-nazis, conservation programs are pointed toward holding property owners accountable for environmental anomalies out of their control, and the Agenda 21 types try to entice property owners with government money to give up easements to their property and lose their rights. In the end, enviro-statism, a term Levin uses to describe the green movement, is anti-human and ultimately interested in taking away property rights, giving way to state control of all things environmental. They will and are in the process of shutting down industry and energy production, resulting in a lesser quality of life.
The Right Scoop has the video, and you should watch it. The film talks about the continuous encroachment of our liberties by the EPA, in the interest of “environmental justice.” At every level of authority, enviro-statists are entrenched and do not ever stop pushing their agenda. They often form “concerned” groups that have tax-exempt status, get paid by programs through the United Nations, The Sierra Club, and a host of other environmental causes that tell the public they are simply interested in planting more trees, saving the environment, when in fact, they are actively crushing industry and killing energy production.
Levin discusses the agenda of the green movement and was filmed in his Landmark Legal office where he and his team of attorneys have been fighting the EPA for decades.

Thanx Jen. I watched it (and posted the 'special' on FB on Fri pm [H/T Mark] and again Sun am, and again 15 mins before airing). As you know our govt. is SO OUT OF CONTROL, imposing their RADICAL LEFTWING AGENDA into EVERY aspect of OUR lives, smothering and stealing OUR Constitional freedoms and liberties. KEEP DOING ALL YOU DO.

The New Green is the Old Red is a well recognized infiltration into our government and a profound violation of founding concepts. And republicans such as Nixon should have known better than to establish the EPA and OSHA considering the legacy of FDR and LBJ. Even Homeland Security, as a response to the War on Terror, can be problematical. Consider that Hayek in 1944 warned that Britain was on a path that was not different than the path that Germany and Russia pursued; these ideas eventually always manifest as a central control abridgment of individual liberty. We have created the framework for bureaucracies which are not often sun-setted or re-examined by legislators after obtaining the ability to create their own laws as well as the penalties associated with those laws; they bootstrap themselves and further advance their power and on top of that some were given a dose or two of Supreme Court rationalization thus effectively establishing internal governments that counter the concepts behind three government branches that check and balance each other. In reality these entities become an effective and fertile breeding ground for the control minded central planners and that is why the old red has found a way to infiltrate what should be an impenetrable bastion for liberty had our legislators and judges remained faithful to their duties.
As I write this I notice than in the right hand margin Jen's remark concerning rationale for not denying that a pink elephant does not exist in her kitchen. I don't think she realizes that she bumped into the Quantum Enigma regarding consciousness. This is not the location to discuss this topic but it does relate to "The Project" and our Newtonian determined world where it seems almost inconceivable that the majority of our media, our legislators and our citizens are unaware of just how sophisticated the Muslim Brotherhood is and how far they have advanced themselves into powerful positions where they can successfully undermine American and Western values. Most of this has occurred in the last three years and I do not believe it was an accident. They now control Egypt and just that notion would have been inconceivable prior to the election of Barack Obama in 2008. For those of us who understand we need no further proof to be alarmed and for those that don't their very numbers provide and alarming testimony to just how far off base our foreign policy rational has drifted and just how far the Brotherhood has succeeded.
