Though the GOP establishment would like to blame its current problems on the tea party, they are truly at war with the base of their party, smearing good conservatives who would naturally be tea party favorites.  They are deluding themselves into believing that by kicking the tea party off the bottom rung of politics, they can go back to business as usual, from the days of old.

So, in order to try to pick up where they left off prior to 2010 when the influence of the tea party won thousands of Republican seats nationwide, they are organizing against their base, and against every political courtesy ever established; the tea party won for them in 2010, so in 2014, they will try again as they did in 2012, to kill off the tea party.

Claiming that the nation wants more of what Obama has to offer, the GOP establishment wants desperately to change the rigidity of the traditional American Spirit, and those Americans who wear their country and pride on their sleeve and in their hearts.  But since that is an admittedly impossible task, they are instead puppeteering and masquerading as conservatives, blatantly trying to confuse the electorate by slipping inside the costume of conservatism, convinced the electorate is too stupid to recognize just what is going on.

People like the disreputable Karl Rove, who is forming a mock group, the Conservative Victory Project, abusing the label ‘conservative’ just as Facebook magnate Zuckerburg did during the outlier’s campaign for illegal immigration without border security, with his, ‘Americans For A Conservative Direction.’  If in fact, it is wrong to be conservative tea-party type, why would they use the term to raise money and to push people to accept that which will exacerbate the massive problems we already face?

After the publishing of “The Growth and Opportunity Project,” and in order to fulfill the report’s precriptions, in May of this year, the RNC  handed over voter lists to Data Trust, headed by former Bush RNC chair Mike Duncan, who is now the head of American Crossroads, Rove’s baby.

Now Rove has a soapbox at Fox, even though he melted down last November with his, “turn the machines back on!” ravings, he has the lists and data just like Obama, he inconceivably still has the ear of the biggest of GOP donors, and so he is therefore in control of candidates, fundraising, and the framing of debate.  And the Republican Party put him there AFTER losing billions of dollars and losing the Senate and the Presidency.

Another reprobate, Peter Wehner, contrives a new definition for “conservative.”  He contends that conservatives must accept that socialism is here to stay, as well as abortion-on-demand, and if conservatives just give up on those fiscal and social issues, they can unite under a new banner of conservatism, a bastardization of the word, its meaning obliterated, but still hanging on because of the optics.  His useless and oddly obsessive rants against Ted Cruz would be notable but for the fact they are poorly written, and deceitful in nature.  Any reference Wehner uses on his soapbox at Commentary to the founding or embrace of conservative intellectuals is superficial, because he has not read them, is not steeped in conservatism, nor is he apt to be truthful in agreement with meaning.  He cannot be truthful, because it is the truth he is trying to mask and subvert, since his only way forward is the way of the left in their march toward socialized hell.

Michael Gerson, former speechwriter for George W. Bush, and man of questionable character has lost his edge.  He is so easily picked apart by political novices because he never really was that great, he simply took credit for greatness.  His offerings of late jump around, mixing thoughts with scrambled noise, living off a Presidency that the nation now sees as the catalyst for an Obama Presidency, where the party of limited government opened Pandora’s box and then was destroyed by the breathtaking consequences of the Bush folly.  Gerson will cheer-lead the Republican Party of the Bush Era forever, and in doing so, will continue to defend obese government no matter who is at the helm, full-on Marxist or Bipartisan Capitulator, damn the citizens, and damn the founding.

There is a certain synergistic quality of having Jennifer Rubin on the team of Imbeciles, the hamster that powers the wheel in her head perfectly keeps the Imbeciles’ message at a constant din.  Having been a witness to the tactics of both Occupy WallStreet and Union thuggery, I know her work at the Washington Post is tantamount to the in-your-face, constant bang on a five-gallon pail that both use as psychological distraction and agitation in order to put their target off balance, make them angry and provoke them to lash out.  Rubin is well-aware of these tactics because she used to be a labor lawyer.  She too, is claiming the mantle of “real” conservative, in line with Rove, Wehner, Gerson and others in order to change the meaning of the word while still clinging to it.  In the end, the Imbeciles are more afraid to tell the truth of what they are than are the Democrats.

Gerson, Rove and Wehner are former Bush administration officials who are still at odds with the Reagan coalition.  The argument that Dubya went into Iraq because he was finishing his Daddy’s business was a repulsive one to me, but I do believe that the Bush Sr. accolytes are dutifully carrying out their big-government, one-world view that the two-landslide winner and cornerstone conservative Reagan, just was not what the GOP needed and are continuously trying to diminish Reagan’s legacy as well as co-opt it.  For that, they entertain and promote Grover Norquist, who regularly reminds that his group was formed at the behest of Reagan.

Norquist is a no-borders advocate, and a strong ally in the GOP’s effort to provide amnesty to illegal aliens.  He is a constant presence in the offices of Congress, stands between the people and their representation, and holds much too much influence and very little scruples.  The pledges he provided during races where the people held influence were betrayed by him once he received an ounce of criticism from the weak Republicans he opposed in 2010.  He is a weak man, standing on pious self-righteousness, bathing in the cesspool of DC.

All of the aforementioned Imbeciles represent a faction at the DC level, who are trying to destroy the coalitions and definitions within the GOP.  The State GOPs in turn have their own representation of these malefactors, and are engaged in the same tactics as the Imbeciles, to the detriment of their own party unity.  They refuse to as much as listen to the constitutional arguments and pocketbook reality of tea party members and constitutional conservatives, but they will tout an idea from a Democrat, from a philosophy diametrically opposed to their own party’s.

These Imbeciles are the enemy within the GOP.  They came to us, year after year, living off the fat of the Reagan Presidency, swearing they were what he was.  But not only are they attacking private citizens in little towns across America, they are attacking the talk radio conservatives who come into millions of people’s homes every day, educating and providing, like Reagan did, the articulation of conservatism the nation so desperately needs.

Those who are paying attention to politics are unhappy.  They are upset at Obama for being the Marxist-In-Chief, and are upset at the GOP for not doing a damn thing about it, for failing to acknowledge and diagnose the problem, and for spending billions to remain a minority party.

The direction of the GOP with the Imbeciles in power will continue to lose at the federal level, and can only further tear apart the GOP, disuniting and agitating rather than building coalitions and embracing the common sense of the common man.

They are fakes, phonies, frauds and Magnificent Imbeciles, and they need to be picked apart and dispatched from politics if America is to survive.

Excellent analysis I couldn't have written it better.

  • David

Yes, Let's become the party of the tail wagging the dog.

As soon as the Tea party can really show it's power by gaining a majority of it, they can have power.

Right now though, they sound like a bunch of cry babies that want to take the car for a drive before they even turn 14.

    Grow up.

    • Jen Kuznicki

We should be the party of the people, not DC elitists, whiners and neo-Statists. The conservative base ARE the adults, your ilk are those crushing the American Spirit.

    • Phillip

David, when statist can’t refute the facts, you often result to ad hominem and hyperbole. We will continue to fight for our founding principles while you “grow up”.

Get rid of the GOPe leadership, install Steve King in the house as speaker and Cruz in the Senate & we will be Presto Miko… ~ !

I'm a rare conservative in Minnesota. Couldn't agree more. The Grahams, McCains, Peter Kings, even Christy I'm sick them all.

So in the meantime we ignore the best and accept the rest? What does this have to do with driving at the age of 14 unless you mean going over a fiscal cliff as acceptable?

It’s a shame that hard working, tax paying, family oriented, entrepreneurial people often fail to recognize that important words are associated with a substantive meaning and the more you see variations the more you need to watch out for the sophist, the liar and the deception. According to John Roberts the ACA is a tax. He knows that it is not and Karl Rove and the Bushes cannot define Conservatism just because they represent something different as an alternative to the current hardcore statist Administration and the Democrat Senate. In fact they were the ones, aka, compassionate conservatism, that helped set us up via a gradual transformative process that allowed what we have today to appear almost invisible and not that far removed from the previous experience to a very large segment of the population that now think it is ok to try and give this variation of a similar theme some time to see if it works; that concept is one very monumental mistake. Furthermore the liberal progressives, to gain even more acceptance and momentum, characterize those who helped them get to where they now are (Rove and company) as demonic and the only thing that they have learned (Rove and Company) from this is to use those same tactics on Tea Party Constitutional Conservatives such as Cruz and Palin.

Conservatism, as a philosophy and way of life, is really quite liberal and simultaneously traditional. How so? Well, the Constitution itself put so much emphasis on multiculturalism that it doubled down on the concept with the 9th and 10th Amendments so designed that people could be what they wished and states could as well without the hard, one size fits all, coercive multiculturalism, enforced by an authoritative central government yet so very intolerant of many traditional values. Early writers, who witnessed the advance of European socialism, referred to today’s Constitutional conservatism as liberalism because it was founded on freedom of choice and especially freedom from strict regulatory bureaucratic government which, in Europe, developed as a pursuit of the utopians affecting a broad societal panacea for all manner of activity. Even King’s understood this. Liberalism, in England, has done far more damage than many of her monarchs. In fact today’s Constitutional conservatism pretty much experienced its’ genesis in England. But it is also very tradition minded and based upon morals, values and principles that have been crafted, fine-tuned and handed down through the ages; in a nutshell, these concepts are necessary for any civil society. Today we use laws to inculcate behavior, that should be based on those very traditional values which have been systematically demolished by liberals using the force and power of a big spending, uncompassionate, elitist, self-righteous and supposedly sagacious government that think that all values are of equal merit. This is more than a recipe for confusion; it is a recipe for incivility bordering on anarchy.

Conservatism knows that government at its’ best is a necessary evil and at its’ worse an intolerable one. Mike Lee and Palin know and understand this. So does Cruz. Beltway Republicans and Beltway Democrats pile on big government solutions. When government grows it regulates and taxes; it must! How is that liberty minded when it does so at the expense of the individual? The Constitution supports none of this and it is a damn shame that neither side understands concepts so basic and easily understood that people, via their State legislators, are forced to amend it.

You pretty much nail it in all your posts. This one being no different. Solid!

This is the best article I have read in quite some time. Thank you Mark Levin for posting the link on your Facebook page! We've known for some time that Bush almost immediately repudiated Reagan as soon as he got into office…this artice puts some names to the faces working behind the scenes to keep the status quo and keep the non-princlpled power brokers in power at all costs. Thank you Jen!

I agree. When I read Karl Roves book. I could not put my finger on what I did not like so I went back and read it between the lines, what a difference. This is a man who has done nothing in his life. He rode the Bush name to where he is. He has accomplished nothing on his own( none of the Bush people have as a whole they are below average. They all rode The Bush coattails). If you pay attention to what he says any does he is right about as often as John McCain.

  • BlogDog

I was at least nonplussed to hear Kudlow on his radio show join the crowd of imbeciles. He totally bought into the latest bogus NBC/WSJ poll attacking Republicans and blamed Cruz and Lee for creating a debacle. I can spare myself from wasting my more time with him from now on.

I agree. The Bush family fought against Reaganism with their country club Republicanism. They attack and diminish the conservative brand while "embracing" it publicly and calling themselves conservatives. They undermining the policies and the politicians who try to unseat the Rove Rino class. Rove is the architect of twice helping the Bush family to wipe out the GOP. On top of that Rove is old school and these moron consultants believe its “presidential” not to respond to attack. Well guess what, attacks unanswered stick in the conscious of voters with today's social media. These guys get their only “viable” candidate, run like mush Rinos, don't attack Obama on Obamacare and what it will do , don't discuss how they will create jobs and how conservatives economic works and liberal policies always fail.
The bottom line is the Bush Rino class does not want to fight the big government crowd. They lose elections and want to fight conservatives. We are the party not Rove. If we're going to lose this country at least go down fighting. I'm tired of being attacked by these charlatans. You can't win an argument when you don't put up a fight.

Obamacare is such a discredited over reach by liberals and so passionately hated by the majority of the public that you could never imagine that republicans would not use it to elect anyone they want as well as defund it with enthusiasm and enjoy universal public support. But you can bet that you will never, ever discover a similar political superstructure of such ineptitude that it is likely to cement Obamacare into place without the help of a single democrat and even make it worse and then brag about how hard they tried to do otherwise.

Kuznicki is the only true imbecile, though not magnificent. Both the Rinos and the Dinos are destroying America. It is not, as Kuznicki claims, because they are imbeciles, but because they are traitors sold to the CFR conspirators who are pushing the New World Order. Since Roosevelt's time, the two parties have been just a fiction to keep the imbeciles busy while the conspirators do their dirty job unmolested. The rest is just smoke and mirrors – like the recent faked opposition to Obamacare, which was previously called Hillarycare, but is actually Rockefellercare.

    • Jen Kuznicki

what are you going to do about it peckerhead?

    • task

I deal with some of the most intelligent and productive people imaginable that have unfortunately made life difficult for themselves and their families and friends. You certainly realize con people are also very intelligent and I would put traitors in the same category. But they are also imbecilic in that they fail to comprehend that they will often be the biggest losers within the environments they are propagating. In Illinois and in Palm Beach County Florida, both areas that I have lived and worked, many of these people are serving long prison sentences. But that is not the total gist of it.

What these fools don't realize is that when the devil gets his due they will most certainly be consumed by the very processes that they are cultivating. Things can become real bad in a domino and logarithmic manner and when everyone must deal with fiscal and regulatory calamities often the makers are the most defenseless and fare the worst.

The reason that Jen (and I) consider them imbecilic is because the handwriting is on the wall in large, bold florescent letters that are impossible to miss. They do see it and yet they think that we don't and that even if some of us do they, nevertheless, can get away with what they do or somehow life will continue to go on or maybe they will be unaffected or only in an inconsequential way. If you don't understand exactly what I mean then think about all the intelligent heavy smokers and alcoholics that you know and then ask yourself what better word than imbecile would you use to best characterize such behavior. The bell tolls for them as well. Although I, myself, will be successful under most bad circumstances I still cannot stand around as a witness to the tragedies that are about to befall so many good and decent people for absolutely no intelligent reason at all. For many life is not really so difficult except that that they, unfortunately, deliberately make it so.This is a great country and I remember when it was quite free and I have been witness to much of the transformations that have made it otherwise. Quite a shame and quite sad. It does not have to be this way.

It looks like the only real choice will be for the TEA Party to become a real third party. I wonder what the Republicans will say/cry about that when they have the 3rd largest set of seats in Congress.

  • Glenn Griffis

I am ashamed to admit I am a life long Republican. My grandfather was one of the first Post Reconstruction Republicans elected to the Florida State Senate. I believe that with the nomination of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan the Republican Party committed suicide. I do not question the patriotism or dedication of either man, but the party purposely nominated somone who was unable to challenge the President on his greatest failure. I believe the Republican Party, although at times having a liberal element like Nixon and Rockefeller, has until recently at a minimum espoused capitalism and individual liberty. They no longer do. They have abandoned their founding principles and exist now merely to serve their own power and some distorted vies of "the common good." The only hope for freedom loving people is to abandon the Republican Party and start a new party based on an understanding of Liberty.

I now live in Indiana where I only have two choices, but were I able I would register something other than Republican.

  • Richard Weinfeld

Jen, if you haven't already, go back and read or reread "A Choice, Not an Echo" by Phyllis Schlafly. It details over 50 years of establishment, Big Government Republicans' efforts to marginalize conservatives within the Party leading up to the Goldwater nomination. It was and still is a (successful) effort to keep the crony-capitalists in position to benefit from government contracts, regulations and international market advantages.

Why isn't that Obama adoring Manhattan "conservative" David Brooks on your list? Or the bottox face of the Wall Street Peggy Noonan?
Where is Obama's friend and soul-mate Chris Cristie?

    • Jen Kuznicki

Brooks, Kathleen Parker and Noonan aren’t on the list because they aren’t, in my view, coordinating with Rove.

Brooks is completely cowed, and not worth listening to. Parker is pretty but empty-headed, and Noonan once in a while trips over something brilliant, but she is as nasty as they come to conservatives.

I really don’t think of them as focused like the group I mentioned. The ones I mentioned are diligently working a plan.

Actually, I think Communist Facilitators works better. It seems to me the DC elite have been playing us with a game of Good Cop/Bad Cop as they sail along, seeming to reverse directions, they are instead tacking (a sailing term) their way 'forward' to win the race: destruction and conquest of the USA by the Communists.

These people let China, Russia and the Islamists enter the US, buy up much of US business, land and engage in mafia type criminal activities, as well as influence our elections.
