of Sarah Palin’s film “The Undefeated” goes like this:
I wanted to go see if Sarah Palin had any fans in Orange County, so I picked a showing at nearly 1 am. I used the pretense of visiting my mommy and daddy in order to have Sarah Palin on the big screen all to myself so I can be clever and do my drawings in the dark.
I don’t like John Wayne or Ronald Reagan or Richard Nixon, and Rush Limbaugh and I’m glad I moved out of this ass-backwards county long ago, they suck.
I like to count my calories and appear gaunt most of the time so everyone can see that I suffer for my art. I misunderstood the usher when he popped his head in the theater to ask why I wasn’t watching Harry Potter. I thought he meant because nobody in their right mind would watch a Palin flick. But in retrospect, maybe it was because of the cape I wore and my continuous practice of “swish and flick.” At any rate, a couple of girls came in and giggled, so I knew it was time to lick my pencil and begin a most thorough account of their life before coming into my presence.
They left.
Sarah Palin is so stupid, she says dumb stuff, and she’s stupid, and she eats well or she sleeps well, and I love to write down every single minute of my life so my articles are boring and long and never come to a point, unlike my head.
I started to watch a girl and a guy who walked in get it on, but I had to watch the screen instead because Andrew Breitbart was on and gosh he’s cute.
And just then, all the stars were aligned, the music on the film came to a cresendo, I looked up, I stood up, and just like every other article I write, NOTHING HAPPENED.
Conor never comes to a point. His writing sucks.
about Conor’s post was funny, but this part stood out,
“Given that the Atlantic also has a negative review of The Undefeated up by a Robert Levin at the same time, I’m assuming at least Conor with one N appears to have had a date for the evening.”
Just so you know, and I don’t know if Conor and Robert were together, but he once told me he was “happily coupled.”
Very ambiguous.
