Obama 2008: Yes We Can–Obama 2012: You Do It, I’m On Break

I still can’t get off of this Obama townhall in Pennsylvania. I’m sorry, it just really galls me.

I just remembered something.

Right after Obama got elected, he was having a townhall in Fort Myers, Florida, and a woman named Henrietta Hughes asked him a question.

According to ABC News, Hughes told the president in front of the crowd, “I have an urgent need, unemployment and homelessness, a very small vehicle for my family and I to live in…. The housing authority has two years’ waiting lists, and we need something more than the vehicle and the parks to go to. We need our own kitchen and our own bathroom. Please help.? President Obama gave her a kiss on the cheek, and told her, ‘We’re going to do everything we can to help you, but there are a lot of people like you.?

He gave her a kiss on the cheek and said he’ll do everything he can.

Now, with the two fellas in Pennsylvania, he basically says, well, you got yourselves into this mess, get yourselves out, what do you want from me?

I don’t think he should give them any pecks on the cheek, but I thought he has started his campaign a few days ago.

By the way, did you see?

As a matter of fact, my theory fits his new slogan. I did all I can, do it yourself, get me elected, I’m on break.

The “shared sacrifice? of his election and his “hope? now rests with people who have seen things grow worse.
